Why Marc?

My approach to managing large scale ground up construction projects starts with the understanding that the financial success of the project is paramount for all that are financially invested in the project.

I’ve achieved success by keeping the following 5 items top of mind beginning from the earliest conceptual design work through warranty: Budget, Schedule, Quality, Safety, and Service. The skills that have allowed me to be successful are being thorough in my reviews, working with a sense of urgency and understanding relationships are critical and long lasting. I believe in fairness, but understand toughness is often required and holding team members accountable and on task is vital. Real estate development is filled with inherit risk and mitigated that risk is critical at every stage in the process.

This approach has afforded me the opportunity to deliver over $750MM in successful projects across Houston while being a VP of Design and Construction for KDC for 8 years and a Project Manager for Vaughn Construction for 14 years. These projects have included high rise office, life sciences, mission critical, healthcare and retail.  

Although my core strength is successful project delivery, my entrepreneurial nature is reflected in running my own campaign and small business, which has provided me a greater understanding to all aspects of real estate development and business.
